Today was a super exciting day! I found out that the American Library Association’s premiere magazine, Booklist, has not only reviewed GARDEN, but also given it one of its coveted starred reviews!
If you (like me this morning) don’t know what makes a starred review so special, feast your eyes on this brief description from the ALA: “the Booklist star indicates an outstanding title of a particular genre. … This means that every title reviewed would make a quality addition to library collections.”
The full review will be available in the October 15 edition of Booklist, but, I’ve included a sneak peak below:
This is a refreshing and engrossing fantasy novel, a cut above the rest.
